7 Man-Made Structures Everyone Should See


for adventurers and world travelers, or those of you who want to give your kids a little education with the rest, nature is so much richness to offer that much of human life to see them all. However, in the middle of our trip, it's also fun to occasionally check the riches that human ingenuity has done on Earth. Our species can not yet be able to match the nature of its miracles, but we can do some incredible things. Here are just some of the human built wonders that are worth visiting.

1 Burj Khalifa: Khalifa is the Burj Dubai is still so new that many people are not even aware that we now have a brand new world's tallest skyscraper. In fact, the Burj Khalifa, at 2717 meters is so high that it dwarfs the competition. For comparison, the Empire State Building is only 1250 meters, and the Petronas Twin Towers (the previous record of keeping skyscrapers) are 1482 meters. Outside of its height, the building was also stunning in its design, like the apparitions rising from the desert.

2 Millau Viaduct: Opened in 2004, the Millau viaduct in southern France is a remarkable feat of engineering. Most breaks three world records: it is has the most poles in the world, the highest bridge tower in the world and the largest rope bridge deck. viaduct at the same time moving the riders quickly through the region, and also protects the surrounding area of heavy traffic to quell the long winding streets. The bridge is nearly two miles long and 343 meters at its highest point.

3 Hoover Dam: For every American who doubts what this country can, Hoover Dam, located 30 km southeast of Las Vegas, is an inspiring place. gigantic structure is 626.3 feet from the ground to the top, and it creates an average of 4 billion kilowatt-hours of energy annually, enough to serve about 1.3 million people.

4 Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge: completed in 1998, Pearl Bridge, because it is colloquially known, is the longest suspension bridge in the world. Connecting Awaji island to the main island of Japan, most were 12,000 feet long, with a central span to 6532 meters in length.

5 Channel Tunnel: After talking for decades if not centuries, the Chunnel connecting France and England was finally opened in 1994. It is the longest undersea portion of any tunnel in the world, and multiple sections can handle cars and trains going in both directions at the same time.

7 Grand Canyon Skywalk: Opened in 2007, Grand Canyon Skywalk is unlike some of the imposing presence at one of our country's greatest natural wonders. However, if you feel about it, this thing is incredible experience, jutting out from its glass-bottomed 4,000 meters above the Colorado River below. It will make you feel a little woozy, but it's worth it.
